Bower Center and Cornerstone Gallery will be open Sunday, June 8, 1-5pm - D-Day Anniversary Weekend

In additional to the usual Tues-Sat 11am-4pm hours, Cornerstone Gallery will be open Sunday, June 8, 1pm-5. 

There will be lots going on in Bedford over the 70th Anniversary of D-Day weekend in town and we want people to be able to visit Cornerstone in addition to seeing the special exhibit, "The World at War: at Home & Abroad," in the Performance Hall Gallery and main lobby. There will be other art works that are a part of this exhibit at Goose Creek Studio and Framing Gallery, 320 Court St and The Bedford Welcome Center, at Rtes 460 & 122. Also, there will be an exhibit of art quilts by Kay Williams in the Terrace Gallery at Bower Center. These exhibits open Tuesday, May 27. 

Black & Red FANtasy has been added to Cornerstone

Dotti's Black & Red FANtasy, just back from being exhibited at TECAC - The Electric Company Artists' Co-op in Bedford, is now in Cornerstone Gallery at Bower Center.

This is another mosaic in an East Asian theme. 

Come by and see this and many other beautiful art works ion Second Friday. Bonnie, Sally, Gene and Sergei and continually adding new art works as other pieces find new homes!

Bower Center's Botanical II exhibit has just been installed and three of the Cornerstone Gallery members have work included:

The exhibit will be up through May 3

Join the reception on Second Friday,April 11, 5pm-8
Awards will be presented at 6 pm.
The Judge: Beverly Rhoads, Artist and an Associate Professor at Lynchburg College.

Floral designers will be visiting the exhibit and invited to create floral arrangements to complement whatever art work inspires them. Entry information is available on Bower's website:

There will be a reception to recognize the floral designers who participate on May 2, 2pm-4 at Bower Center.
